BLADERUNNER AND THE OUTLAW SHOW
On Air: MEL TILLIS-I GOT THE HOSS
Bladerunner And the Outlaw Show is a radio show that started one day, and never stopped. 70's based Outlaw Country Show. Waylon, Willie, Cash, Haggard, Jones, Paycheck, Hank I, Hank II, Hank III, D.A.C. and all the rest. Set to the sound of the wheels on the highway, broadcasting through the airwaves of the CB Radio...Bladerunner runnin' blocker in a black Trans Am. It's an homage to Smokey and the Bandit, Convoy, 8 Track tapes, and the 70’s CB truckin' era. Presented as more of a show that never ends than a “radio station”. We also play stuff from that era, Charlie Rich, Buck Owens, John Conlee, Gene Watson, Statler Brothers, Conway Twitty...not necessarily “Outlaw”, but still from that period. We’ll occasionally throw in some Western Swing with George Strait, Alan Jackson, Webb Pierce and the like. We play some of the “newer” stuff also...Dwight Yoakam, Gary Allan, Steve Earle, Mark Chesnutt, Toby Keith, Randy Travis, and Travis Tritt. In Answer to George Jones “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes?...You’ll hear Shooter Jennings, Lucas Nelson, Hank Williams III, Georgette Jones, Marty, Noel, and Ben Haggard. And of course, Ladies Love Bladerunner And The Outlaw Show...Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, Wanda Jackson, Tanya Tucker, Jessi Colter, and Rattlesnake Annie. Some of our special features: OUTLAW BAKERSFIELD BUCK CUT: (Buck Owens track). WILLIE DUET ROULETTE: (Who will Willie Duet with next?). GEAR JAMMIN’ JUKEBOX TRUCK CUT: (Classic Truckers Track). TALES OF THE REDHEADED STRANGER: (Willie Stories). OUTLAW COMEDY CRASH: (Comedy bits about Redneck and White Trash Shit). ACES ON 8-TRACK (A Shitty quality song recorded from an actual 8 track). TANDEM TRACKIN’: (A Cool Track Featuring two or more Outlaws Together). OUTLAW INTERROGATION: (Interview Segment with an Outlaw). COPY THAT: (A Cover of an Outlaw Track). POETRY, PROSE, PRISON: (David Allan Coe Spoken Word). We may play some Eagles, Rolling Stones, Bluegrass KISS and VAN HALEN. This is an attitude not a format. But we don’t play any Tractor Rap Bro Country Shit, cuz ‘Bro’...your Country Sucks.
