Bob Marley was born in rural Jamaica in 1945 to a black mother and older white father. Raised with African folk traditions and converting to Rastafarianism as a teen, Marley championed black empowerment and human rights through his influential music. After early pop success with his band The Wailers, an assassination attempt in 1976 cemented Marley’s mythical status. His album Exodus made him an international icon blending reggae with rock to spread his message globally.Diagnosed with fatal cancer at age 36, Marley undertook a demanding final tour and album before dying in 1981. His funeral in Jamaica drew massive crowds. Marley achieved unprecedented fame for a musician embracing African identity and speaking against inequality. His sound and image as the King of Reggae lives on through endless musical covers and generations of artists carrying his influence. Beyond music, Marley leaves an enduring legacy as a cultural icon who taught marginalized groups not to compromise their heritage to fit society's molds.

Podemos decir que la historia de nuestra radio empezó hace aproximadamente unos 40 años, y que ahora, tomando el testigo de ese primer proyecto, ha cristalizado en otro tiempo y en otras circunstancias. Nosotros somos dos hermanos, Jordi y Javier. En los años 80 empezamos a participar en una radio municipal, y allí descubrimos nuestra pasión por las ondas, por el poder transmitir y conectar con los oyentes que rápidamente se fue convirtiendo en nuestra pasión. Después, al cierre de la emisora y al encontrarnos en un pueblo pequeño, vimos como el poder transmitir y hablar por la radio se acabó convirtiendo en tener que limitarnos a seguir escuchando otras emisoras. En resumidas cuentas, nos convertimos de locutores a oyentes. A día de hoy las nuevas tecnologías nos han abierto una puerta nueva a este medio. En la actualidad el poder hacer radio en una pequeña población no supone ningún problema, lo único esencial es tener una buena conexión, un ordenador y, lo más importante de todo, ganas y energía -de esto último es de lo que menos nos hace falta-. Radio Tremolina nace con la ilusión de conseguir formar una gran familia, amantes de este medio tan fantástico, donde gracias a la música o a unas sencillas palabras se pueden llegar a transmitir grandes sentimientos. En Radio Tremolina podéis ser oyentes, pero también locutores; podéis escuchar o hablar, podéis pedir canciones o ponerlas. Somos una emisora sin ánimo de lucro, somos una emisora con ganas de estar siempre a tu lado. En resumidas cuentas, Radio Tremolina nace con el propósito de ser tu radio.
